Can't dim the light

I love this fan, it's very cool. But there is no way to dim the light from the remote control. It just turns the light on and off. What gives? How cheap. This is totally unsatisfactory! Will probably have to send it back. Processed. So I added a $35 Hampton Bay remote and receiver. It's thin which is hard to find. Runs on a 12 volt battery. It works like a charm with the Edison LED bulbs I installed earlier. And now $35 and I'm happy. Too bad they couldn't add a better remote and receiver.
