Review on Visconti Triangular Leather Backpack Rucksack Backpacks by Karen Mabey

Looks good but almost impossible to use with one hand

I bought this case to replace a similar looking leather case I've had for years. It seems well made and definitely roomy when opened, but if you want to use it to look like this picture you'll have to fold it up. When folded, there is not much space inside. It's also difficult to fold, and folding or unfolding with one hand (e.g. holding a wallet in the other hand) seems impossible. It would be better if they carefully consider where and how people actually want to use the bag - then they could probably make it practical and attractive. There's also no really handy compartment for the phone. You can either put the phone in an outside pocket, which is fine, but I prefer the quick-draw holster style, or you can put it in a pocket that has a holster-style mount. However, when using a holster holder in a case, you must first grab the clip to unfold the case and then open the case to get at the phone. Also, the bag is even harder to fold when you have your phone in the holder. Finally, if you use the bag unfolded, which I do because of the issues above, it doesn't hang very well. All straps (2 back straps and a hand strap) are on the same side, so the bag will hang on its side regardless of the straps used. Not only does this look ugly, but it puts a lot of stress on the attachment points of the straps, which I think will cause them to fail fairly quickly. !
