We spent over 2 hours putting this together and finally gave up and threw it away (I was so frustrated at the time that I didn't want to try and take apart the numerous bits and pieces and try it to put it back in the box to send it back.) Instructions were unclear. They were badly illustrated. The images were incredibly difficult to decipher and there were no written instructions, only images. We have collected many pieces of furniture and have never had this problem. When we finally figured out what to do and started assembling the parts, it seemed like the screws weren't long enough because the parts just wouldn't hold together. They kept falling apart no matter how hard we tried to tighten them. I just don't feel like the parts and pieces are well made and with so many parts/pieces and no clear instructions they are very difficult to put together. We gave up and bought another piece at a local store.
