Review on 7" E-book Amazon Kindle Oasis 2019 1448x1072, E-Ink, 8 GB, graphite by Czesawa Mazur ᠌

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

I bought this book to read pdf files. Of course, on a 7-inch landscape display, this is much more convenient. But I didn't find any other merit in the book. Some drawbacks compared to the old Kindle. I do not use the backlight, I have a tablet for this. I don't read in the bath. For me, these are dubious advantages. The physical paging buttons for reading PDF in landscape orientation are inconvenient, I scroll through by touching the screen. Some people like the fact that the screen is not recessed - for me it is also inconvenient: when the screen is recessed and you take a book, you do not touch the screen itself, but here it is very difficult to hold the book without touching the screen (but still the screen must be protected). As for the charge, it suits me: the new book was charged by 40%, it was fully charged 1 time in a month (I read half an hour a day without backlight), now 47% is left. Dictionaries are loaded, but do not work. When you need to look up a word, they write: "Dictionaries not found." By the way, the same problem arose recently with the old Kindle. And for this junk I gave almost 18,000 (now, by the way, I see that it has fallen in price - apparently, no one takes it). Yes, she has a red price - 5 thousand, no more. Chose between this book and Onyx. Since I already knew Kindle, I decided that it would not be worse than the old book. And she is much worse! In general, Kindle shame! Why can't you make a book without bells and whistles, just with a big screen?!.

Pros
  • 7 inch display. Gyroscope.
Cons
  • So called. The "ergonomic" design is very inconvenient for me: the book is almost square, and one more part weighs more than the other. The screen on my 7th generation Kindle is a little grayish, here it is dirty yellow-gray, much worse - my eyes began to get tired.
