Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Pros: high-quality and comfortable book, convenient to use at any time, good screen, eyes do not get tired after prolonged use Has some cons: built-in advertising, but it is removed through the support service, which does not cause much inconvenience

Despite all the shortcomings, I am very pleased with the purchase. I decided that it is more profitable and more convenient for me to buy an e-book once. it is very kayfovo to the touch and the quality of the picture. but if we are talking about the voice of reason - a more balanced device is paperwhite this is for those who want not just a good reader, but an iPhone in the world of readers.

Pros
  • in my opinion the best that is now from the readers
Cons
  • battery. you need to constantly remember and charge it, it doesn’t hold much compared to other readers. although I constantly use the backlight almost to the maximum, it’s more pleasant for me. the micro-usb connector is, of course, trash))) a separate and only wire is only for the reader

Think twice before buying this product.

For the money I was expecting the perfect book. Alas, I did not wait. And rather, even left disappointed, and not just "not perfect, but ok." Why - described above. With its pros: 1) Excellent work speed. There is nothing to dig here. This is the fastest book I've ever had. 2) The backlight is uniform, good. 3) There is Wi-Fi. Has cons: 1) Battery. My main frustration. Even if you turn off Wi-Fi, it still comes out no more than a week. And with a permanent plus or minus three days. But then it…

A good product, more pros than cons.

After a year of use, I still could not get used to the terrible organization of books. It would seem that it could be more logical: to group books by author, and within the author by series. But in such an "advanced" reader it will not be possible to do this. To maintain at least the series of books, you have to inflate the collection (as Amazon calls the library). This feature does not bother you if you have only a few books, otherwise it's boring . I thought they might ate the firmware with a

Pros
  • Pleasant build quality as a whole, and the screen. Screen Size: Still 7" is better than 6". Setting the backlight in two ways. For almost a year of almost daily use has never failed.
Cons
  • Terrible book organization. Defective structure with ONE nesting level. Editing file metadata (title, author, series name) only through dancers with additional. programs.

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Over the years of using e-books, I have probably tried all Kindle models starting with Kindle 2. I use them because I have accumulated a fairly large library of books in my account. I had to ate because in the previous oasis the battery was irretrievably broken and even the replacement did not save. Let's see how this one behaves, but so far no problems have been noticed. Of the minuses - as I wrote above, a slippery back cover. It is solved quite easily by buying the cover of the cover.

Pros
  • Screen, life time per battery charge, backlight temperature regulation
Cons
  • Slippery metal body, tied to an Amazon store

Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

One interesting observation comparing Paperwhite and Oasis. My wifi distributes a smartphone, and I see the activity of devices connected to it and the traffic. So. Both books are synchronized, both are identically filled and configured. In an hour of reading, the Paperwhite turned to the Amazon servers twice, a few bytes back and forth. The oasis kept in touch with the servers all the time, giving out several kilobytes for each paging.

Pros
  • The main advantage of the book is the Amazon service. Deserved 5 points out of 5. It was for the service that I chose the books of this company and have been using them for many years. Outwardly, the Oasis is executed perfectly, there is nothing to talk about. Materials, workmanship, cover, functions - at a high level.
Cons
  • Now for the bad. The main drawback of the Oasis is the battery. About any "weeks of reading 30 minutes a day" is out of the question. A few days to recharge. My previous Paperwhite was quite consistent with the "we read for weeks", Oasis keeps a few days. A couple of small, personal, inconveniences: 1. a sharp angle digs into the palm, it hurts a little to hold on weight for a long time. 2. For some reason, the paging buttons click so loudly when pressed. If someone tries to fall asleep nearby, it's annoying.

Satisfied with the book. Of course, the price bites and in my opinion the price tag could be more modest. If you choose between Oasis and PPW 2022 and money back to back - calmly take PPW 2022 and you won’t lose anything much. With its pros: 1. Screen - it's big and bright (25 LEDS) 2. Design - despite the 7" screen, the book is quite compact and easy to take with you (in winter, it generally fits in a jacket pocket) 3. Services - Kindle, it's still a service. An excellent opportunity to buy…

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

I bought this book to read pdf files. Of course, on a 7-inch landscape display, this is much more convenient. But I didn't find any other merit in the book. Some drawbacks compared to the old Kindle. I do not use the backlight, I have a tablet for this. I don't read in the bath. For me, these are dubious advantages. The physical paging buttons for reading PDF in landscape orientation are inconvenient, I scroll through by touching the screen. Some people like the fact that the screen is not…

Pros
  • 7 inch display. Gyroscope.
Cons
  • So called. The "ergonomic" design is very inconvenient for me: the book is almost square, and one more part weighs more than the other. The screen on my 7th generation Kindle is a little grayish, here it is dirty yellow-gray, much worse - my eyes began to get tired.

The product did not cause delight, but you can use it.

The main disappointment is the uneven backlighting. Barely noticeable, but you can see that the left side of the screen is a little darker. It would seem a trifle, but pay attention to it. The backlight, of course, is not as bad as on the Pocketbook 740, but still very far from ideal. And the screen itself . I don’t understand the general enthusiasm - it’s ordinary, even too dark, there’s nothing special about it. PS. exchange device. In the new copy, the backlight is more uniform, it has…

Pros
  • Size Diagonal and screen resolution Build quality The screen is flush with the body, without sides Backlight
Cons
  • Your book format Few text options Inconvenient organization of the library, long-deleted books "hang". Uneven backlight High battery consumption You almost always need to turn on the backlight, even with sufficient lighting. The buttons click unpleasantly and interfere with the sleeping person next to you at night The cable is archaic micro usb, I don’t have a single device with such a connector anymore In complete darkness, there is no way to turn on the backlight. It would be possible to hang this function on a key combination, otherwise you need to highlight the book itself with something to turn on the backlight) this is a clear mistake of the engineers. In the filthy Pocketbook 740, the backlight turns on when you long press the "menu" key

I wanted a reading room for a very long time, saved up money for it and took the best one (as I thought). It is believed that there is nothing better than the Kindle, there are a lot of advertising from bloggers, on the Internet, and so on and so forth, but it turned out that they have a rather low build quality. Let me explain: I fully charged it, downloaded books, sat down to read, and after an hour the reader turned off and refused to turn on. I took it to the store where I bought it…

Pros
  • Didn't have time to understand.
Cons
  • Broke after an hour of reading.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Stylish design does not irritate with any elements. Moreover, when reading, you do not notice the device at all. Properly distributed weight, ergonomics thought out for any hand. Has pros: There are scroll buttons. The screen size is optimal. The resolution of the display allows you to display illustrations without turning them into cloudy spots. Adjusting the backlight temperature really adds to the comfort of reading. Has some cons: WiFi only on 2.4 GHz. File conversion. Wireless…

This is a very thoughtful product for those who are looking for just an e-book, without players and games. Resolution 300 is enough for the eyes, you can not see the difference with the HD screen. Got pros: Very high-quality assembly: aluminum case, protected screen. Comfortable shape to hold in one hand or two hands. Nice adjustable lighting. You can scroll through the buttons and the touch screen. Sending books by cable, through the site and by mail. Cons: The old mUSB connector does not…

The item is average, not sure if it's worth the money.

I bought blindly, trusting the brand. Since 2022 I have owned Kindle 4, I thought that during this time e-ink screens have stepped far ahead, and have become almost indistinguishable from paper, and the best of them will be in the top Oasis for 300 bucks. How wrong I was! Firstly, the screen substrate is really more gray than on my ancient Kindle 10 years ago! I am attaching a photo. Gentlemen of Amazon engineers and marketers, are you all good with cognitive abilities there to do this and…

Pros
  • Screen size. Body materials. Physical paging buttons. Fast work speed.
Cons
  • Screen quality. Touch control. Backlight. Meager settings in the native reader.

I'm pleased with the purchase. Having access to all the books in the world at the click of a finger is a dream. But for 25k I would like a modern, advanced device. And this one seems to have not been tested by any of the developers. Got pros: Very nice case, like a MacBook. Good backlight. The ability to quickly send yourself an article from a browser for reading. The operating time suits me quite well (I read Dune for 60% of the battery). It's cool that you can translate words by tapu. Has…
