Funmit W10780048 Washer Suspension Rod Kit (4pcs) with W10400895 Washer Suspension Springs solved my Whirlpool washer instability, (bang and jump), and coincided with an increase in its fast agitation ability to a higher number of repetitions. A visual inspection of the springs discovers they seem a little larger than the OEM set that was replaced, but this didn't necessarily unrecommend them from installation and subsequent successfully tested use.

Had a repair company come out for an estimate. Said he wouldn't repair for under $300.00. installed springs and washer is working perfectly!Thank you!

Just fyi, changing out these springs are an absolute pain in my lower backside. Well worth it! My maytag washer was starting to beat it self up in spin mode, even with a light load of undies, and towels was a no go. I ordered this spring replacement kit and installed the new ones in a an hour or so. Ran a couple of heavy and light loads perfectly! No more washer spinning of death sounds from my laundry room. These for the original suspension rods on our washer. Dimensions were the same. The only reason replace them is because the foam in the original rods disintegrated. I replaced the foam and the original rods with weatherstripping and it seem to work. Then one of the suspension rods jumped out of the holder so I decided to replace all four. I’m not a technician and no experience with washing machine repair but , I found it easy to install. Perhaps you can include a suggestion to remove and replace the spring one at a time. I removed all four before replacing them and the whole unit fell and had a hard time lifting it.

Didn't fix my problem with a washing machine that liked to take walks, but the product might have helped leash the beast if I had purchased and installed them sooner. I caved and just bought a new washing machine but will keep these springs in reserve for the very instance that shaking shows up on this new washer and update my review if necessary.

I bought this item to repair my mother-in-laws appliance. While this item was cheaper than others I found, the quality is the same as the more expensive items. They were easy to install and are still going strong. I have no issues with this product and if needed, I would purchase it again.

Our washer was starting to jump and emit loud bangs from being off balance. I opened it up and discovered one shock had broke free and the others tension was worn. Washer Suspension Rod failed after 4-5 washes. Sears appliance technician installed them and came back and told me they were over extended and to get my money back. But now it’s been over a month and I can’t. I am very unhappy and want my money back.

I ordered these to repair a washer that would get badly out of balance and jump around the laundry room with even the smallest load in it. I read some other repair tips online and was told I needed to buy the oem parts to fix the problem. I am trying that next.

My husband & I watched YouTube videos that showed us how these were to be installed, so it was quite easy to do, only taking about 30 minutes.
