The item looked nice and couldn't tell it was a lock box. Within 2 or 3 weeks opening it maybe once per week, the lock got stuck and wouldn't open. I tried resetting the combo and all but would not budge. Luckily it's made kinda cheaply and my husband was able to take his pocket knife and pry metal open and get my important belongings in it.

I got this to put items like my pain medication and small amounts of cash out of site and slightly secured so that I don't have to worry about it when company comes over. This so far works great and setting it up was a breeze.

Works ok but it’s already torn (see pic) and it was just opened yesterday on Christmas. So I’m not sure the quality is good or else I just got a dud.

Works well to conceal things. Sits in a conspicuous area in my living room but one would never know it was full of things I’d want no one to see. The contents are hidden but accessible if needed. Hubby is happy with it too and it serves its purpose.

The box lock was set, opened and closed a few times at first, but now won't open. Yes, correct passcode was entered and checked and double-checked. Various combinations of the passcode was attempted with no luck. These locks are cheap JUNK!

My book safe arrived and I was impressed with how realistic it looked and felt. Unfortunately, the little metal piece that allows you to reset the combination was inoperable. It wouldn't budge. So, my combination remains 000.

Very nice safe, had a crack on the outside paper of it did not go through all the way, wrote to the company and they immediately offered either a refund or me to return and get a new one, with all the covid issues going around didn’t want to go through the hassle of a return, more or less just wanted them to know about it. They immediately refunded my money. Would buy again! Very cute safe, my son loves it!

Nobody suspects anything because where the pages are I just put some things on top of the only thing that people wonder if it’s fake is because normally I wouldn’t have a dictionary sitting where it is I wouldn’t be the one to just open the dictionary and read it otherwise it’s amazing good buy for your money!

Sturdy and easy to conceal. I didn't know if it would have much space for what I need it for but it has plenty. Gave one to mom and she loved it.

Yeah, do you know why this is the perfect safe? Because nobody likes to read books anymore, so nobody’s gonna think to look in the book. I just put it with some other books that I’m also not reading, and God knows I never check a dictionary so I’m pretty sure any thief isn’t going to look at it either. Unless they see my review. Ok actually a great idea but uh maybe shouldn’t review and let thieves know to look for books.

The kids love that it looks like a book. Their stuff is safe and in clear sight. What modern person would reach for a dictionary anyway, just google it. This is a very neat idea and made an excellent birthday present.

Good sturdy product. Maybe a little too sturdy. The lock got stuck! I’ve had this box/book a couple months placed important items I wanted in it. I needed a document from within to make a copy. Well, it would not open! Not with my code or the default. Luckily customer service was every helpful. When their advice on unlocking didn’t work, they gave me advice on how to pick the lock, and refunded me.

I bought this safe to store important documents (passport, social) and the cash I save for rainy days. I keep it on my shelf in my office and it blends in with all my books, the only people that can spot it are people who know what it is.It is a bit flimsy, if someone truly wanted to break into it and grab my things they definitely could with a little elbow grease. But it’s a 15 dollar safe, you get what you pay for, and frankly I feel better having my things in a flimsy safe then a hardcore…

Great for teenage grandson to keep his stuff safe. Only down fall is that wouldn’t take but a good hammer to smash open The combination lock may malfunction and prevent access to your items.
