The book cover itself isnt very sturdy. with one drop youlll get dints and scuffs. definitely wont last unless kept away

Seems okay. I was hoping for one with actual paper pages and not plastic. Guess I needed to review the info better. The safe works and it’s metal inside. On the shelf it does look like a book, but upon closer inspection it’s pretty obvious it’s fake. The lock worked first time I set the combo, so we shall see if it holds up to travel and use!

My grandkids are getting older and starting to move into apartments of their own. Jobs and college mean keeping track of important documents: Social security cards, your lease, passport, immunization records, certified copy of birth certificate . . . all the documents you don't want to lose.

Came as pictured. The metal looks sturdy but there's a slight gap between the safe door and the safe body at the bottom when closed. The "pages" are plastic around it so I wish it was more secure then just plastic on the outter shell. Quality of safe and exterior looks good though.

My daughter wanted something where she could hide her duck money in her room, without things getting lost. When we purchased the 1st one the mechanism jammed, but the company was on top of getting me a replacement, and taking back the first one. The second one, worked perfectly. It was easy to set up the code, and now my daughter has another "dictionary" on her bookshelf!

Looks like a dictionary but can hold a lot of stuff. Very light and aesthetically pleasing, great for storage. I definitely recommend.

Very easy to set up and truly blends in with other books. I would have preferred more space inside. The lock takes up a quite a bit of the area.

It looks nice but it doesn’t really fit money because it’s just two small Man you need that extra half an inch. The book safe may not be strong enough to protect your items from forceful entry!

Fits a J frame snubby with hogue grip perfectly. Sits on the book shelf hidden in plain sight. Locked of course, but easily accessable.

This is a lot smaller than I thought. It was too small for what I needed, but the design is sturdy. If you are looking for security this is not it. The main feature is to disguise what is in the book. If they figure out it is safe all bets are off. It's not hard to break into it.

Great gift and easy to use. However, it accidentally fell from my shelf and with a short drop the cover broke off so it’s not very durable. I love these safes and I use them for various reasons.

The safe is nice and study. Its nice that people wont know its a safe. Only problem it was damaged when i opened it. I don't want to go thur sending it back. I feel they knew it was damaged because it was wrapped and box with no damage. Open it up and damage.

I love this lock box is perfect for my methadone for when you have take outs but the only thing I have a problem with is the front cover of this lock Box book has came off so they're very easy to rip and tear unfortunately I use mine 2 days a week and take it out to get my medicine cuz I have to have it to leave my methadone clinic put it in my purse and then you know after a while the book part of it broke off but I still love it it was worth it

I bought this with the idea of using it as a secret safe for cash and valuables. It's a great concept, having a secret safe that you can put on your bookshelf and no one would notice. The inside is as described, no complaints there. The safe uses a 3 number combination lock so you can choose your own combination to lock the safe. My son lives in a group home and he needed something to put his cash in. This works great. Easy to open and not noticeable to those who he lives with.

I got this to be the gift box for my fiances present. The theme of his birthday is spy themed (well Threat level midnight). It is cool that you can set your own code, I don’t know how well it would do for actual safe keeping but it is good for what I needed it for!

Locked me out. It was fine for 2 days than I randomly got locked out and had to break in with a flat head. It’s not strong by any means. If you want to risk it not working than go for it, it’s very cheap. If you don’t want to risk it than definitely don’t buy this.

If you plan to go in and out if the box often this may not be the right fit. Works great to store important items, but not for everyday use.
