Review on TailaiMei Exfoliating Brush Ingrown Treatment by Whitney Buckley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for exfoliating and whitening old stretch marks

As other reviewers have said, this brush is quite hard. I can't use it in the bath or shower because it's too rough and I can't stand it. If you try there water will actually get into the handle part, but this super smart girl here suggested using nail scissors to pull out the bristles to drain it. I used a nail file but the idea is the same. Just slide it between the bristles and the tip and it pops out in no time! Although it's tough, it's actually a really great exfoliating brush that helps get rid of ingrown hairs and amazingly shed my old stretch marks! They're a lot less noticeable now, which is saying something because stretch marks are really noticeable on African-American skin. I wish I could take a before shot but I didn't purchase this item to get rid of stretch marks so I didn't, I honestly have no idea it would work! I use it before bathing and rub in in circular motions, focusing more on problematic ingrown hairs and stretch marks. After feeling like I'm properly aligned, I step into the tub. God it stings. But after a minute it's ok, I wash and shave (the shave goes much smoother!) and use Tendskin, let it dry, then apply the CBD ointment I make and my legs are so soft and juicy, as if they were loaves of bread she would eat. Life. If the thought of cleaning yourself scares you a little, you might want to consider getting something softer! 🤓 I gave this one 4 stars instead of 5 because they really should mention on their list that this bad boy is quite intense (ie: very gross!) and maybe not for a heart bluff and of course water in the pen problem. You need to build in a trigger! We don't have to mess with MacGyver on this thing until we figure out how to make it less unsanitary.🤷🏽‍♀️

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Can I add anything else
