Bought this unit due to lack of bike helmet options. Most bike options cost up to $300 each. Bought this set for $99 and it fits two helmets great. It takes a bit of innovation to set up, but for me and my son it made a world of difference whether we were socializing while mountain biking on the trails or on the roads. I can communicate with him to let him know of any dangers or dangers to his head and give him directions on where to go if necessary. The distance is amazing and the clarity is amazing too. My son's helmet has a microphone on the boom, I have a microphone on the visor, there are no problems with the sound in either direction.
