Unit arrived defective. Tried all troubleshooting methods. When the device is on, a constant red light will be on. The device is filled with the supplied water. Drained the distilled water and filled up with distilled water from the bottle. The red light is still on and nothing happens. The red light goes out after about 30 seconds. I turned it off and let it sit. Reconnected and it still happens. I've tried less water and more water but the red light is still on. Drained the water and topped up with bottled distilled water, left for 2 minutes and turned the unit back on - still red light. It was an important Christmas present for a loved one and here we are on Christmas morning with a defective item. Huge mistake. NOT ORDER!
