My daughter recently got rid of her school desk and replaced it with a normal, large desk. She really didn't want it because she liked her pants. However, once she cleared them out, she realized that she probably didn't need that much drawer space, so I ordered shelves and baskets for her. Although she wanted a pen box. The size of a metal table base, this one is perfect. it looks amazing and was so easy to install. The only problem is that the screws were too long for the desktop surface and I had to find my own screws to keep from driving the screws into the surface. My concern is that after a while they might stop holding the box. I warned her not to stuff too much and never lean on her elbows. I hope that will do. The drawer is great but holds a lot of stationery and is very easy to open and close. So easy to install (four screws and you're done. Recommended!
