Well when they work they work when they don't and that has been our experience buying replacement filters for our unit from Revain. The original kit we received with the unit worked perfectly, with the Gremlin intermittently freezing in the car (in other words, it wouldn't start or had to be reset to start). It has never worked 100% properly, it was a hassle to clean, they don't have a replacement for the rear "dirty water" tank. So if you break, SOL and. if you need an additional "Pure Water" tank. You have to shell out $50+ dollars for it. Overall I would consider buying the whole house. Although I doubt the authenticity of these filters. Either they are fake or just cheaper.
