Just received and fitted to my SUV today. This serves my purpose. Not great quality in terms of the straps and the strength of the velcro to hold the ends but you get what you pay for and it's pretty decent quality for the price. I strapped it to my car and think this will hold the end pieces to the center piece because the strap hooks are on the center piece so I wrapped straps around the end pieces and then hooked to my car which should connect them to the center is easy Well. I carry a lot of weight all over the world because I have 5 gallon water bottles, one on each end for emergency water. So I don't really use the ends as coolers, but I think water bottles will help a bit with insulation since my car I live in gets over 130 degrees in the summer, although I can't close the lids with the bottles shut are high, the coolers will probably still be insulated a little against the heat. I'm damn happy with my purchase!
