I think there are two types of sheets: those that prefer the freshness of cotton and those that prefer the softness of microfiber. I'm definitely on the cotton side; My husband prefers microfiber. He LOVES these sheets, and not because of the cute flamingos embroidered on the edge of the top sheet and pillowcases. He likes silky smoothness. I can handle microfiber towels (although I prefer cotton) especially when they have cute flamingos on them. I don't think they breathe as well as cotton, but I'm willing to compromise for flamingos and my husband's fondness. They wash and wear well. Unlike cotton, they don't wrinkle, although I've found that I can crisp them up a bit if I starch and wring them out. However, I don't like to iron everything so well. If you prefer microfiber, you won't find anything better.
