Review on PumpSpy Silent Sewage Check Valve by Fred Novak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's good. - Pump Accessory

I live in Panama and power outages are very common. I bought four pumps from another brand, all white PVC. The shock was held in place with rivets that seemed too short and badly crimped to me. All crackers were out of order in a short time. I use these dampeners for mission critical purposes in my 1500 gallon tilapia tank to keep the circulation pumps from losing power in the event of a power outage. A moving part and another manufacturer couldn't get it right. This PumpSpy check valve might have a silly name, but it looks very well built. Despite numerous power outages, it worked perfectly. I'm so sure that I don't get up at night to check whether the pump is still priming when the power returns. PumpSpy did everything right. Five stars.

Pros
  • See what is being pumped through the transparent valve body
Cons
  • Some problems
