Like the other reviewer, I've also used this from the inside of my house to the garbage can in the garage. Installation was pretty easy. Can't speak to reuse and durability yet as my cats are still trying to figure out what's going on. I will say this works very well for keeping cold air out. We only installed one side, and when I pulled out the plastic part, a draft came up immediately. As soon as I closed the door, I felt nothing! A double door is really important to keep cold or warm air out. I hope this entry will withstand up to 5 cats of daily use. The time will show! I'm definitely glad I bought these for the much more expensive version at a major hardware store.
