I ordered this box of mini mochi squishy toys to give out on Halloween since we are a "teal pumpkin" family. Putting treats in teal pumpkins is the code used to indicate that you have non-food or food-allergy-friendly treats available on Halloween. I have a daughter with severe food allergies, so we try to avoid having commercial candy in the house, and we give out toys instead of candy for that reason. The added bonus to giving out toys instead of treats is that you never are at risk of ending up with more candy than you can give away at the end of the night; you can just save extra toys to give out the following year. These mochi squishy toys are individually packaged and come in an assortment of cute animal designs sure to appeal to most children. I knocked one star off the rating because the packaging and texture of these toys makes them appear to be candy, and I'd be afraid that very small children (and even their parents!) might confuse them for candy and try to eat them. Printing something on the plastic packaging like "toy--not for human consumption" might help with that potential confusion.
