Shorts fit perfectly, look good and are very cute. I wear size 7 women's pants and shorts. I ordered the medium ones and they are very comfortable, not tight at all. I'm 5'4", 135 lbs. I first ordered 2 pairs: black and white and multicolored blue. I liked them so much that I ordered a red pair with a floral print. The material is perfect for the beach. The shorts have the perfect length for me: short enough to look cute and get a tan but long enough to wear around town.Right after I bought them I rode my bike to the beach and they are neither a Walk still a nuisance. They stayed very comfortable. I've worn them all day. They are great for surfing, kayaking, beach biking, running, volleyball, lounging and any other beach activity you like. I could even be that comfortable sleep in it! There are pockets on the side but these are not noticeable at all, they don't stick out. I'm a picky eater and these exceeded my expectations. Shame they have more color choices now. I would wear them anywhere all summer t protrude! My new favorite shorts. :)
