I bought this item in November 2015 and it is holding up very well. There's an open area on the back that makes the camera accessible, and there's also an elastic strap for storing the stylus. The front cover is perforated so you can fold it back and there is a magnet feature to keep it closed. I get a lot of compliments on this cover and people always say "I thought it was a real writing pad". ." The only slight downside is that there is no place to rest if you intend to use it regularly (portrait). The design is enough for you to have easy access to all buttons and my iPad mini was very secure in it It's not the perfect case if you find yourself constantly wanting to get your iPad in and out of a case, it has a pull tab at the top that you tuck behind your back and it fits snugly to your body.
