These dog shoes are stylish, functional, well made and look very cute on my pup. At first my dog didn't want me to carry them, but after a few days he knows what to do and doesn't bother me too much when I tie them to his paws. If, like me, you live in a desert climate, it is very important that your dog's paws are protected from the intense heat of the pavement and tarmac. Dog paws can get burned if you're not careful! The general rule I've heard is to see if you can keep your hand on the floor for 7 seconds. And if not, then your dog's paws should not walk on it. That's where these dog slippers come in! This is a set of four and they are all identical. There is no difference between front and back legs, so one less thing. You simply undo the velcro straps, slip the pup's paw through, and then tighten the velcro strap and secure it in place. These kids aren't going anywhere once you place the Velcro. It took my dog a few tries to get used to it. And to be honest, it was quite a lot of fun to watch. But now he's a total pro and proudly walks in his new sneakers. Reflective stripes provide additional safety. I chose neon green so cars can see my furry friend from a mile away. But reflective material is always great for these types of products.
