Not the best single source for reading in the dark
While I can't find a flashlight bright enough to read in the dark for long periods (no other light source to bother my sleeping husband) this has been very helpful in case of power failure. Free hands were very helpful. I wouldn't recommend it as the only reading light. But I recommend for power outages, camping and the like.
