Review on πŸ’™ Kid's Cape - Blue Mohawk Design by Mane Caper Boy by Theresa Mcdonald

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Based on first impression

This is purely based on first impression so I can't give it a 5 yet as I find it just as unfair as a 1 without considering all factors. Having said that I think they have a great business model as they have emailed me twice already to show me in advance that they are available for me as a consumer. These aren't just crappy emails, they are sincere and seem genuine, and a few bad reviews I saw about the quality of the product I just didn't meet. The clasps are better than any clasp of this type I've seen. They are polished and smooth so the action is easy but fun while still requiring some pressure. Weak, flat fasteners are common, and mine appears to be much stronger. Cape material which I also like. The smooth texture and medium weight fit my son's shoulders and felt comfortable. I used to wear cheaper and stiffer capes when cutting my hair and again the material seems to be of good quality. Time will tell and I have yet to use it in cutting but as I said first impressions are positive. It's easy to get good grades with them. PS - I have no hair cutting experience and the purpose of my purchase was to start doing this at home for my 2 year old and I intend to practice enough to be his hairstylist for a long time. .

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
