This thing is built like a tank and it shows. I was looking for a thick glass bottle with a thick sleeve and wide mouth, made in the USA. I bought a bottle from Amazon a few weeks ago and it broke from a brief fall. This bottle is heavy (if you buy a glass bottle and it's light, that just means it's easier to break. The thicker the glass, the more weight. If you want something light, buy metal). The mouthpiece is nice and seals well and I like the small sip for the mouth but the detachable stainless steel collar if you want to put it on hold. After receiving it in the mail I was quite shocked at the quality for $12. I will definitely buy another one. Finally, BUY AMERICAN. Made in China almost always means cheap plastic and very fragile parts, high VOC plastic, polluting and of course foreign sweatshops. When you buy china, you support slave labor and a "throw away mentality" of overconsumption. If it's cheap but needs to be replaced quickly, is it really cheap? Just my 2 cents
