Very poor design. The back of the frame fits up inside a very narrow groove, which leaves room for little else. These are not intended to be used with any kind of backer board, and cannot be without fairly serious modifications. Combine that with the fact that the clips on the back of the frames will damage the back of anything you put in them (there were already indentions on the back of the matte board when I first opened the frames.) and the frames are almost useless. But they are an odd size, which I needed, so I did modify mine to work with a foam board behind my prints and the resulting pressure has bowed the top of the frames up to the point that it’s noticeable.They were also quite dirty. The white frames outside and the white matte inside needed to be cleaned before it could be used. They do have real glass but that doesn’t even begin to make up for the faults. Avoid these frames at all costs if you care at all about what you’re putting inside them.
