Review on Universal Antenna Vehicle Replacement Compatible by Alex Foley

Tossed in tool box

Was very happy to get this little addition to my truck. After playing around with different stud configurations for about 15 minutes, I found one that fit my truck! I screwed it in very carefully not to disturb the aluminum ball and the cheap bobby pin broke! Speaking of the frustration of finally getting the chip out of the ball, the truck side antenna is a different story, it needs to be drilled and removed with a small extractor or the antenna mount and cable replaced. Very disappointing, now I have no antenna at all and have to bear the extra expense of removing the broken pin and buying another antenna. Slightly better facilities and that could have been avoided.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
