Review on 🔊 Polk Audio 80F/X-RT In-Ceiling 2-Way Round Surround Speakers - 8-inch Woofer, Dual 0.75-inch Tweeters, 100W, Paintable Sheer Grille, White, Pair by Scott Bailey

A small baffle and 15-foot vaulted ceiling made it difficult to add a pair of rear speakers. I choose these Polk F/X RT speakers because of the size, price compared to Sonance, Episode and because the wood matches my front towers. Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. Although the focus here was on the surround sound effect when watching films, listening to music in 5-channel stereo did not cause any problems. The F/X preforms helped fill the room with clean, clear sound. Not much bass, a bit muted but I wasn't expecting much deep bass from them as there is no enclosure on the back of the speakers. You need subwoofers to provide deep bass. In general, the speakers are excellent for their price range. I highly recommend. Excellent quality! UPDATE: I've had a pair of Polk Audio F/X RT ceiling speakers for a while (3-4 years). Because the price and performance was so good and now that I have an AVR with Dolby Atmos I will be buying 4 more of these guys!
