The code base of WebAssets makes it very easy to create different types of asset bundles, such as JS/CSS bundles, fonts, images, etc. The API is easy to use with no complexity in understanding how all of the classes work together. Not many things I disliked about WebAssests. I would love if they could add more customizations as per specific requirement. For example, we have a requirement where we need to provide some javascript files (JS libraries) with the page served by us. This feature is missing in WebAssets currently. We are working on this using WebAssets, so should be good soon. Currently, our primary concern is to build a reliable system that can handle large volumes of traffic, which WebAssets has done by a long way. We had been stuck in a certain scenario where we needed to serve JavaScript files along with the other pages served by us. We came across WebAss.
