My Malinois is a very sloppy drinker. A lot of water flows out of the corner of her mouth when she drinks: the perfect sprinkler system for every kitchen floor. I was tired of mopping the floor several times a day. Now I fill the QT bucket about 1/3 full and when she drinks, the water only flows from the corners of her mouth to the sides of the bucket. It took her a few days to get used to the thought as she saw it. Reflection at the bottom of the bucket. Tilting the bucket a bit so she drank for the first 2 or 3 days solved this problem and ensured she drank enough water during this adjustment period.
