This is just amazing. When I moved, I could only take a few suitcases and a lot of clothes with me on the plane. My criterion was that they should be cheap, small enough to fit in a suitcase and not require a vacuum cleaner. This seemed to fit the bill. I was able to easily hit the weight limit with plenty of extra space in the cases they compress so well. They may not shrink as much as with a vacuum cleaner, but it was still impressive. The problem I had was that I had trouble with tears in the pockets at times - wish the plastic was a bit stronger. When I found the break I was able to salvage and reuse some of the packages with duct tape. I ended up throwing a few away. The other issue was that the zip-like closure at the top was a bit finicky and not as smooth as it could have been. However, they helped me a lot with my big move and were exactly what I was looking for. Durability/design issues aside, they've done a great job (reducing volume in cases). I've moved with them twice and if I ever have to move again I will continue to use them. However, they may not be ideal for general storage or when you need something more permanent.
