There were no written instructions in the instructions. The pictures aren't very good in some places, it's hard to tell how things are. Well I made the mistake that others have mentioned, the middle shelf was the wrong way round and it wasn't until I installed the doors that I found out so it was too late. I ended up replacing the pins that go into the slats to allow the doors to slide. The top door opened fine, but the bottom one kept falling out and didn't fit. I had to tuck a piece of beading wire under the edge of the top pins to make the pins stick out more so the door wouldn't fall out. I also accidentally flipped one of the back panels so the wire holes were on the same side, which sucks because you want to hide them behind the doors. But it still looks cool and does the job.
