I've owned a lot of seam rippers over the years. I'm currently switching between my ergonomic one and the one with the "delete" thread, if only they would make one that could do both. I bought this ripper to put in my purse sewing kit to replace the foldable one I've had for years. Unfortunately it's huge, bigger than the ergonomic mg rpper, it feels very fragile like I'm about to break it on a hinge if I hold it to use it and it looks cheap like the ones in the small kits that you can get for a dollar. I miss my old foldable ripper but instead I went back to using the little ones with the cap you put on the end that came with one of my sewing machines.
