I turn wood from the side and need a carriage to cut segments for segmented parts. This protractor replaces the need to create and set templates to cut corners. Now all I have to do is figure out how many segments I need, divide 360 by the number of sides, and then set my sled to snip that corner by dialing it in with a protractor. Works perfectly.
