Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Optimize Cooling Performance: Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme Thermal Paste - Ideal for Processors, Graphics Cards, Heat Sinks in Computers & Consoles (2g) by Jessica Williams

The temperature dropped 10ยฐC and I was able to work with

. First off I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised and very happy with the results of applying this Thermal Grizzly Extreme thermal compound. In this review, I won't exactly compare Apple to Apple, but I will share what I've seen and learned about two ways to cool a CPU in terms of the contact material between the CPU and the CPU cooling block. If you are considering a thermal pad vs thermal paste comparison, please read: So my baseline test is a Ryzen 9 3900X (non-OC) cooled with Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P AIO and IC Cooling Graphite thermal pad. Here is the cooling thermal pad IC: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08BL3SCWH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EYAN2WXM5GZ0Q1VVTDXK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Now with this setting I was idling at 42-46C and maxed out at 84 ยฐ C load - 86 C. Now for the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Here I upgraded my Ryzen 9 processor to Ryzen 9 5900X. Now both Ryzen 3900X and Ryzen 5900X have the same TDP of 105W, but I understand that they are different processors. However, running Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme on a 5900X (not OC'd) with the same Cooler Master ML360P AIO, I got 39-42C at idle and 74-76C under load! Huge difference! It's a bit more complex to apply than "traditional" thermal paste or the non-extreme version of Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste, but that shouldn't stop those who have already applied other thermal paste to CPUs. With this thermal paste, it's "stickier" than many others I've used and is pink, but it can be applied to the CPU. It's like a lozenge after it initially spread after coming out of the syringe. So use one of the two included nozzles attached to the syringe and just start on one side of the processor, slowly depress the syringe and move the manifold around until the entire processor cap is covered in such a thin layer of paste how to apply. (it is NOT conductive). The instructions that came with it show how to apply it and I just looked at the instructions first and applied it with no problems. Value for money depends on how you feel about the costs involved in building high-end rigs. Some parts are just expensive. The amount of thermal paste in this syringe is suitable for 2 TOPS, CPU installations. They could give you something more than them. But hey, it works great, and for something like $20 my CPU is WAY cooler than with a thermal pad, so I'm happy. My Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal compound has been authenticated by the Thermal Grizzly website. Mine was sold by DS Distribution. No questions.
