I bought this device in 2018 to get rid of the horrible smell of a duck that somehow got into the attic of my apartment through a damaged soffit and died during Hurricane Irma. We didn't find it until a few weeks later. Spent three days at max ozone but got the job done. Since then we've been using it to get rid of the smells of a wildfire blazing a few blocks away. Treats smoke odors very well. Now, with the coronavirus, we use the UV light function to sanitize all our mail - we just put the mail on the floor in front of the machine - and the HEPA function to filter the air. Very glad we bought this. The only downside is that the programming is not intuitive. We watched videos on YouTube but our unit didn't respond that way. It must be a different model than the one delivered to us. We only use it manually.
