I was skeptical about this hair trend but fell in love with this product quickly! From time to time I crave a big change in my hair, but I'm very cautious about making that change. It can't be something that doesn't grow back fast enough to damage my hair. These crayons are perfect for adding charm to your look. I especially like to apply a single-colored strand to the lower end of the hair next to the ear, so that a great splash of color is created when the head moves. You can of course apply it in any color or combination of colors that you like. It was my first time using it - the packaging caught my attention when our grandkids were here so I decided to put a rainbow in my hair. I dipped two fingers in the water, lightly dampened a small strand of hair, and ran the chalk over it. Light and fast gradients all over my head. There's some colored dust on the hand, but it's not much and it washes off easily. At first no one noticed what I had done. This was partly because my hair was dark blonde with a few stark white streaks, and partly because only one light was on - and it was on the lowest setting. So the colors mixed in this semi-darkness. In brighter light, the color bands showed up well. Everything washed out easily, didn't leave a mess in the tub, and didn't damage my hair. Definitely recommend Neon!
