less than 100 Mbps - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

Pro: An affordable cable for basic Ethernet needs at home or in the office. If you only use YouTube and email, this cable is fine as long as you don't have more than 3 devices connected to one cable. Cons: 1. Less than an inferior cable, even with a 3ft cable plugged directly into my Google (Gigabit) fiber optic port, I got close to 100Mbps uploading and downloading, which is download speeds of around 10MB per second for uploads means decent for images and streaming, but if you're downloading games or movies Shine2 falls short. Fragile as I cut my own cable, I kept cutting through the internal cable and tried to hammer the outer plastic, I had to be a lot more careful than usual. when making your own cable (also cut me on the internal plastic, overall it's just not worth the money if the LAN connection to your modem can't even go over 100Mbps. I would suggest going for better quality cable spools to pay extra).

Pros
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE LOW COST ETHERNET CABLE. Suitable for home or office Ethernet installation 10/100/1000 Mbps. This Category 6 Ethernet cable is 23 AWG with 4 pairs (8 conductors). Supports bandwidths up to 550MHz.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
