These bags work very well and are a great alternative to single use plastic bags. They work well in the fridge and freezer. Cleaning - They are very difficult to clean. Even with a bottle brush this is tedious. However, if you want to use less plastic there's no other option, so I've just learned to live with it. Storage space is my biggest complaint. They don't stretch at the bottom, so they don't hold as much as, say, a zippered gallon bag. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but you can imagine how much you can store in a gallon, quart, sandwich bag, right? You will need to adjust this estimate for these bags.
