I tried a wireless charger half the price of this one but has an automatic clamping function. The autoclamp got me and I had to send the charger back. I'm just not in the habit of picking up my phone before turning off the car and this particular clip had no slack to be able to unplug without the car running. This is by no means a fast charger. I can get 13-15% charge in 30 minutes ride. I've also noticed that if I don't turn on the air conditioner and point it directly at the phone, my phone (iPhone XS) gets very hot. The bleed clamp is very secure, but I wish it had a "stand" feature in the back that would serve as an extra measure to keep the mount from falling off if I hit a pothole or go down a rough road. . For now I've got everything fixed as tightly as I can, but over time I'll have to see if it's enough to keep the mount in the position I like, which tilts slightly upwards so I can see the screen with a quick View can see more clearly while driving. It's more money than I'd rather spend, but it does the job. I think it would be better if it was 10-15 dollars cheaper.
