This blue rough finish works best on Teflon-coated, nonstick, anodized aluminum cookware (like Calphalon) because it's not as aggressively abrasive as the green version (however, the stippled version is virtually useless and all natural brown tends to get uncomfortable quickly). I prefer the version with a hole in the middle so when you press the button on the wand, the soap squirts directly onto what you're cleaning. It's just easier to use. You might have less soap with this version, I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of buying branded stuff just for this, but 3M's "official" DishWand heads work and last longer than unnamed fakes, so they're worth the extra cost.
