I really like the look of this bag and it's also very well made. The bag can be carried as a book bag and handbag which was a big plus for me. I also wanted this bag to be made from leather for durability and found that it is made from split cowhide from the area in question. Currently the product details do not contain this information. I hope that the fact that it's made of cast cowhide will extend the life of this bag. I don't really like the shine on this bag so I'm hoping the shine goes away as one of the reviewers mentioned. Use this bag a lot in a few months and you'll be back to let you know how well it's doing.
