Not worth it for office and school supplies

The wood is very difficult to sharpen, leads tend to break when sharpened. You should definitely sharpen them with a spiral electric sharpener, not a manual blade sharpener (some cordless sharpeners also use a blade), as the wood will get caught in it and the wires will break even with a brand new blade. Also, they were shipped loose in an uncovered box in a plastic bag inside a padded postal envelope. The open top box they were in was crushed and torn on both sides so it had to be thrown away and I had to find another box to keep them in or just put them all in a plastic bag. I will never buy these again
