My poor baby is very prone to diaper rash. We use the most delicate biodegradable unfilled bamboo nappies, cloth nappies, keep her dry and we manage pretty well, but sometimes it happens to her and oh my god it happens fast. We've become very familiar with what works and what doesn't. I can say that this product works EXCELLENT. At night, it can clear up a very severe diaper rash. She had a completely raw and weeping rash and by the next morning her skin had almost completely recovered. After you keep the ointment on it for a whole day, it will disappear. The only downside of this product is the price compared to the usage amount. A little really doesn't go a long way with this product and I often have to wring almost a quarter size to get decent coverage. In view of the price, this is difficult for me as a very stingy person. But as a mom who just wants my baby to be comfortable, I don't even think about it, and I'm sure many distraught parents of rash-prone children would agree. It has a strong, strange, medicinal odor. For me it smells mainly like avocado oil, very mild and unobtrusive. Overall, I highly recommend this product, especially if you're looking for a cream that just works and doesn't have to worry about the cost. As for us, we will alternate this for more severe breakouts and use the base brand for daily maintenance and I'm happy with how it's working for us!
