Love how these headlights look on my 2001 Golf. I like the dark look and the fact that the light is different than anything I've seen before. CAUTION during installation. Since I didn't have original headlights before soldering the cables, I had to strip and connect new headlights. When stripping new wires, one of the wires broke inside. I had to cut open the plastic case, solder new wires to the board and reassemble everything. Definitely Frankenstein's work, but the light works perfectly. Be careful when stripping and snapping the wires as they almost don't look like they will fit, but they snap and hold perfectly. I've had them installed for about a month now and everything is still working great.
