I hate giving harsh reviews but this one needs it. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY THIS BELT.1. Quality: You'd think a company like Timberland would know a thing or two about quality leather. It's either a fake Timberland or they sell junk. Upon opening, it feels like it's not "premium genuine leather" as the label says. I would hardly call it leather. It looked like cardboard and definitely didn't even smell like leather. My high school softball glove has more leather smell and feel than this belt after all these years. It was folded, and as soon as it was unfolded, the "skin" began to fold like corrugated cardboard. (See photo...I even added what it looks like rolled up, which was nice and smooth). I bought the best quality faux leather belt at Walmart.2. Fit: Regarding sizing, I followed their intricate charts and instructions as best as I could, and my size was within 2 ranges. Since they recommend taking a size larger than my jeans, I decided to have a larger selection as I figured I could add holes if needed. NO. First, I'm wearing mid rise jeans and the buckle didn't even touch the last hole. By placing it higher on my waist it barely reached the hole which was useless as none of my jeans were that high waisted. I put it next to my own belt, which is small and almost the same size. It has to be big. Added a photo of both belts next to the tape measure. If you're looking to stray from what's large compared to the actual tape measure (roughly 42 inches), this might help. But I wouldn't worry as the quality of the belt is very poor. There's a good point: they sent the correct color as advertised and it's actually a good color. I immediately requested a refund. tldr Extremely low quality material and the size is big really small or smaller. The color is pleasant. But don't buy that.
