Not for outdoor use

I bought these shoes for my son to wear on scout hikes. In the spring he carried them on two trips and then took them to summer camp. The sole fell off completely on the third day of camp. They also didn't dry his feet when he went camping after a heavy rain (not during the rain, but afterwards when the ground was wet). I just don't think you can expect these boots to hold up to actual outdoor use.
