I love my herb and spice slicer

I love my slicer. I bought it three months ago and use it almost every day for dicing, shredding and making vegetable noodles. First, the blades are very sharp. They cut everything I put on them. I like to have diced onions, jalapenos, and green peppers on hand. My chopper made it incredibly easy to roll my culinary trinity on a regular basis. I usually make a pint jar of this mixture twice a week. I also use a food processor to chop carrots, celery, potatoes and tomatoes. I've read that others have had problems with some types of potato, but I've never encountered a potato that couldn't be diced. When dicing, I cut veggies into 1/4 inch slices, so when I dice them, they come out in almost perfect 1/4 inch blocks. As you can see from the photos, the diced vegetables are cleanly cut and the same size. I have used the blade to chop fruit and vegetables and it has made stews and soups easier to make. The pasta and carrot picture shows my sliced carrots on ditalini pasta to give an idea of size. I've found that when cutting something, it helps to visualize how you're going to use it in the bowl. For example, I cut thick vegetables such as courgettes, courgettes, parsnips or cucumbers about 1/2 cm thick and guide them vertically through the cutting blade. I cut thin vegetables, like carrots and celery, into 2 inches. 3 inch strips and cut them horizontally. The only downside to my chopper is the spiralizer and julienned blades. Vegetables need to be thin or they won't fit in the cut, so regular-sized zucchini don't fit through very well. However, they were extra, so I'm still giving this machine five stars. In terms of durability, I hand wash the blades and tamper for light jobs, but when using it for repeated dicing and chopping, I disassemble the chopper into its component parts and I evict them. Dishwasher I have had no problems with my dishes falling apart or breaking despite frequent use.
