This keyboard and mouse combo is a very good buy. I bought this for my nephew for his gaming rig so I tested these peripherals for a week before giving them to him. Please note that I did not download the setup software and did not receive the headset. Keyboard: I have a few other keyboards (I like my mechanical keyboards, I have 7 to giggle with) I can say they are surprisingly good. by price. ABS plastic double caps feel comfortable. The base is very solid. My nephew accidentally spilled water recently, the drain holes kept the keycaps working properly once dry. The only thing I noticed is that there is a slightly springy feel and sound compared to, say, Cherry MX Blue (I use a Logitech G 710+ with blue switches at work). It wasn't too annoying, it just took a little getting used to. The spring noise will annoy (some people). I tested it on CS:GO, Rocket League, Warframe, GTA V and League of Legends. The key answer was pleasant. They allow you to press multiple keys and no ghosting was noticed. I also did a typing test, my average is 80 wpm on my daily rider (G710 at work, G910 at home). On this keyboard I got 77 wpm with 2 errors. Since they are equivalent to Cherry Blue switches, however, they are a bit heavier and the fingers tire a little more over time than, for example, a brown or red switch.Mouse: The mouse is based on an MSI interceptor. It's a decent theme, it has good dpi variation, and I like the fact that it includes weights so you can change how it feels. It's not an amazing mouse, nor is it a floor. Unlike keyboards, my daily driver until recently was the Logitech G303, my first "gaming" mouse was called the "Sharkk Gaming Mouse" (literally that mouse, but different colors and DPI up and down buttons). The reaction was good, I actually got two headshots in CS:GO. (I'm not a CS:GO pro, I'm just an average player). Moving the mouse left and right very quickly sometimes revealed that it couldn't track my movements, but it felt more like a test than actual participation in a game. But overall, the mouse felt responsive when playing the games listed above (CS:GO, Rocket League, LoL, and Warframe). Ergonomics are ok. Some may like it, some may not. I have medium sized hands and I feel comfortable. I was able to get the side buttons with no problems. There is also a sensor rattle. Overall this is a great buy for the mouse and keyboard only price. However, some may be more foodie than me and do not recommend it. If you need a backup, want to gift a gamer who wants a mechanical keyboard, or just want to upgrade one, I would recommend this set. TL; Pros of the DR Keyboard: Mechanically water resistant Sturdy construction Cons: Has a slightly springy sound/feel Blue switch can tire fingers faster than a red or brown switch of this combo set. For someone on a budget or someone who needs a spare keyboard and mouse (e.g. if you're attending a LAN party) this is a great set. I would use this as my daily driver if I didn't have my current setup. Excellent purchase
