Complex scent to love and dislike at the same time

Got this scent because it seemed like a popular one, and probably the most apt for a bachelor pad. First time getting Caldrea, because it was listed as the best air freshener in a website.My first impression of the smell: it took me back to my middle school days when I was putting on Axe Dark Temptation Body Spray to impress my crush. Gross.But then it grew on me. The after-scent somehow feels very "clean". When I walk into my apartment, it just has this exquisite "this place is well taken care

Good stuff bottle dented up

Love the smell, love the feel and looked just was disappointed that it wasn’t wrapped and came dented, not worth my time to send back but wish the packaging protected the products/ I’ve been getting so many broken items. Not just from amazon, west elm and Macy’s too.

Not worth the loss of product and mess occurring during shipping

I’ve loved the scent and feel with this lotion since my first order last year, with the soap. However, shipping appears to be an issue. Though the wrapper states "ready to ship” it’s not. Both times I’ve ordered this lotion, a quarter of it is spilled in the plastic wrapper.I’ve not even opened my last bottle yet. Didn’t feel like dealing with the mess of it.They need to tightly screw the dispenser on before it’s put in the "ready to ship” packagingDon’t think I’ll order this set again.

Best smell ever! good for me

This smells so luxurious and expensive. I use it all over my house along with the counter spray and guests are always complimenting me on how great my house smells!

Love the product. the old packaging looked more chic!

The smell of this is so warm and luxe. I love it! And I do feel like it does a good job of cleaning my countertops. My only note is for the Caldrea branding/marketing department- the old packaging looked so much prettier! It was very chic and simple. The product of course is great though! You should definitely purchase. Just ordered a new scent to try.

The best smelling Caldrea scent so far

Caldrea products are great, and I'm hooked on them. I love Basil Blue, Pear, Ginger Pomelo, Lavender, but I have to say this scent, Gilded Balsam Birch is probably the best I've tried. I use the linen spray to spritz the throw rugs before I hang them in the sun. I even add a little of the spray to the vinegar/water solution I use on the laminate floors. The smell lingers for hours. The house smells heavenly.

Smells good, but strong scent

Smells nice but if you are sensitive to strong scents this won't be for you. Seems to clean surfaces well. Not sure how effective it is in disinfecting the surface but looks cleaner, so it's doing something.

This smells AMAZING. I wish they made a perfume exactly like this! I find myself wiping my counter tops down so much more just for the smell. It makes my kitchen look and smell awesome.

Best Cleaning Spray EVER

This has to be one of my FAVORITE scents EVER! I have this spray on auto delivery every month, for over a year now. It smells amazinggggg and I look forward to cleaning just to smell it. It works really well and I use it to clean everything in my house. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Makes hands soft and smells amazing

Love the Gilded Balsam scent - yes it is perfumey. I have eczema on my hands and this is the only hand soap I’ve tried that not only doesn’t irritate my skin, but also makes my skin softer. Suds up very well, only have to use a small amount. I’ve accepted the high price because it works so well and the smell is amazing

Disappointed in the fragrance and dryness

I love Caldera's Sea Salt Neroli fragrance, so took a gamble on this Gilded Balsam Birch, even though it's clear from other reviews that people either really like it or don't. I was hoping for a Christmas-y Balsam Fir plus Cardamom (one of the listed ingredients, and a major spice in our Norwegian Christmas cooking/cookies!) - but it's anything but that. It just smells like generic perfume - I don't know how else to describe it - which is not something I'm fond of; and, yes, it is a very strong
