Review on Sturdy Men's Military Belt: Columbia Mens Boys Men's Accessories in Belts by Pablo Rudon

A simple belt that DOESN'T WORK!

I bought this belt (and another one exactly the same in a different color. It had the Columbia name on it so I thought it must be good. WRONG! Firstly, it's not at all) easy on cut the right length. It's a matter of trial and error. DO NOT cut too much at once or you will end up with a strap that is too short. But the dead stone is a simple mechanism that fastens the strap once in place and has been around for several decades or even longer. But in this iteration it doesn't work properly. It's a simple little "bolt" that clicks into place when the end is threaded through the buckle. As the strap twists out, the bolt snaps in and tightens, and voila, the strap stays in place, just doesn't work properly, first it often slips into the end of the buckle and gets stuck there, and then a bit of a struggle . so that he is free. Then if someone tries to hook the bolt with the strap in the right position, they won't stop. So the worst thing is that it doesn't move when you need it and it won't bend when you need it! These straps are no doubt made overseas and all now, but I expect reputable US companies to do their own quality control rather than waiting for the customer to do so. The belt is supposed to be great, but it isn't. And the problem isn't one, because I bought two (black and beige) and they're both the same (okay, maybe black is a little WORSE!
